Honor has officially unveiled two new smartwatches called the Honor Watch GS Pro and the Watch ES. The new Watch GS Pro is designed for adventurers and features a rugged design, while the Watch ES is focused on fitness users.
The new Honor Watch GS Pro can challenge the likes of Casio G-Shock watches. The device holds a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED display and features a screen resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. The smartwatch is made of a stainless steel bezel, along with a polycarbonate body. The watch also features a silicone strap. The smartwatch has a rugged body and comes with 14 different MIL-STD-810G certifications, which also includes shock, thermal, and water resistance. The watch can withstand extreme temperatures up to 70 degrees centigrade and as low as -40 degrees centigrade. It can also resist humid conditions up to 240 hours and salt fog up to 96 hours. Other features for resistance include contamination by fluids, solar radiation, low pressure, vibration, immersion, dust, and more. The Honor Watch GS Pro has its own microphone and speaker that allows users to attend calls.
The new Honor Watch GS Pro is tuned to work with activities such as hiking, swimming, and skiing. It also comes with notifications for tide conditions, bad weather alerts, along with navigation for hikes and tracking for skiing and snowboarding. The device also features 100 different modes for workouts and also packs active heart rate tracking and sleep tracking. The Honor Watch GS Pro also has its own built-in oxygen monitor. Honor Watch GS Pro is armed with the Kirin A1 processor, the same chip that powers the Huawei Watch GT 2. Honor mentions that the Watch GS Pro can last up to 25 days when in low-power mode. That said, the watch on its regular mode, and with heavy usage of GPS, can last up to 48 hours of use. The Honor Watch GS Pro comes with Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless transmissions. The watch will come in camo blue, marl white, and charcoal black colors and is priced at 250 Euros (Approx. 1087 AED).
Now we talk about the Honor Watch ES, a fitness-focused smartwatch. The device features a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with 2.5D glass, and its screen resolution is 456 x 280 pixels. The smartwatch supports always-on functionality, along with the usual customizable watch faces. The device packs about 95 different workout modes with automatic detection for workouts. The watch has its own virtual coach that showcases 44 different exercise moves and 12 workout classes, all done in animation. It also features the 24/7 TruSeen 4.0 based heart rate monitor and will alert you when abnormal heart rates are detected. The device also has its own stress and sleep monitor called the TruRelax and TruSleep 2.0 technology, respectively.
The Honor Watch ES can run up to 10 days of use on a single charge and also features a 30-minute fast charge that offers 7 days of usage. The fitness smartwatch also has its SpO2 monitor to track oxygen saturation levels in your bloodstream. It also has a Female Cycle Tracker that keeps tab with the menstrual cycle and can predict the dates of the next period, along with reminders to keep you informed on each stage. The Honor Watch ES will come in black, white, and pink colors, and will be priced at 100 Euros (Approx. 434 AED).
