Microsoft has officially confirmed the long-awaited pricing of the upcoming next-generation Xbox Series X console. The company has confirmed through its Xbox Twitter page that the new console will be priced at 2149 AED. That said, both the Xbox Series X and the recently announced Xbox Series S is set to be released on November 10.

The Xbox Series X is currently the most powerful game console on the planet with a significant performance boost over the previous generation consoles. The Xbox Series X is powered by a custom 7nm AMD APU, featuring eight Zen 2 cores that are clocked at 3.8 GHz speeds (and 3.66 GHz speeds with SMT enabled). The APU features RNDA 2 based GPU cores with a total of 52 CUs, clocked at 1.825 GHz speeds. The GPU is capable of 12 TFlops of computational power. The console is designed to deliver 4K gaming performances at 60fps and can go further up to 120fps for some titles. The Xbox Series X packs 16GB of GDDR6 memory and the console comes with a custom 1TB NVMe SSD, which supports seamless game switching without delays. Users will be able to expand the internal storage with 1TB expansion cards and the console also provides support for USB 3.2 based external HDD storage. The Series X also comes with a 4K UHD Blue-Ray drive.
