Realme GT is officially launched with Snapdragon 888 SoC and 120Hz AMOLED display

Realme has officially announced its latest flagship smartphone called the Realme GT, featuring the fastest Qualcomm chip, blazing-fast display, massive memory, and more.

The Realme GT comes packed with a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display that features FullHD+ as its screen resolution. While most flagships do have a higher screen resolution, the display in the Realme GT comes with a fast refresh rate of 120 Hz, which should be very useful for smartphone gaming.

Speaking of which, the device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 chip which offers ample gaming performance, thanks to the included Adreno 660 GPU. The chip is joined with 8GB/ 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/ 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. However, it’s a bit disappointing that the smartphone does not come with MicroSD card expansion. The device runs on the latest Android 11 OS and comes with HyperBoost 4.0 for optimal gaming performance.

On the rear side of the device are three cameras mounted and the main shooter sports a 64MP image sensor. The second camera is an ultra-wide shooter with 8MP onboard, and the third camera is a 2MP macro shooter. The front-facing punch-hole selfie snapper holds a 16MP camera. While the main camera can record 4K videos at 60fps with the support of EIS, the slow-motion video capture capability goes down to 720p at 480 fps.

The Realme GT houses a 4500 mAh and the smartphone has fast charge capability with 65W. However, the gaming flagship model does not have wireless charging functionality. Other features include Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6e, and Dolby Atmos tuned speaker and earpiece.

The Realme GT will come in Deep Sea Blue, Dawn Yellow, and Galactic Silver colors. However, there is no word yet on the availability of the new smartphones in the UAE.
