While Belkin makes some of the best smartphone and laptop accessories, the brand also has a great line-up of audio products. We got a chance to try out the Belkin SoundForm Pulse noise-cancelling earbuds, and here are our thoughts about them.
The Belkin SoundForm Pulse NC feature a stick-based earbud construction and come in both black and white colors. The IPX5 certification for sweat and water resistance means users won’t need to worry about the daily usage of the earbuds in different situations.
The earbuds are comfortable to wear and are easily snug in different ear shapes. They also stay firmly and do not fall off during movements. The device also comes with three different sizes of silicone ear tips (small, medium, and large).
Belkin mentions that the SoundForm Pulse NC earbuds offer a total battery life of up to 35 hours. This includes 7 hours of runtime from the earbuds alone and 28 hours of charge from the included charging case. Both the earbuds and the charging case feature their own LEDs to indicate the status. While the USB-C port is located on the rear side, the charging case also has support for wireless charging.
Belkin also mentions that users will be able to extend the battery life by using only one earbud in mono mode while keeping the other earbud as a backup to conserve battery. Then there is the Hear-Thru mode, Belkin’s own version of Ambient Mode, that lets you hear background voice. With the SoundForm app, you will be able to choose different scene modes including Default, Immerse, Voice, and Relax. While you can switch between Noise-Cancellation and Hear-Thru mode, some of the scene modes have their own default settings. For instance, the Immerse and Relax modes have noise-cancellation enabled, while the Voice mode has the Hear-Thru enabled. You can also decide how much of the background noise can be heard or blocked with Hear-Thru mode.
Each of the SoundForm Pulse ANC earbuds features a total of three mics for clear calls. The earbuds also have support for Google Fast Pair functionality for easy pairing and connection with Android devices. And with its Multipoint technology, users will be able to seamlessly connect and switch between two devices with the earbuds. The earbuds are also compatible with a wide range of Apple iPhones and iPads.
