With 2020 almost coming to an end, smartphone manufacturers are already preparing to unveil their latest range of flagship smartphones for Q1 2021. While Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S30 smartphone (or perhaps known as Galaxy S21), leaked renders of the upcoming device has surfaced online and is published by none other than reliable leakster @Onleaks.
From the looks of the new renders, it appears that Samsung is aiming to introduce some changes with respect to design. The biggest change noticed is none other than the rear-facing camera module. The new rear-mounted camera module appears to be an extension of the frame. There appear to be three cameras within the module, while the LED flash is located separately. The presence of three different cameras on the base Galaxy S21 indicates that the Plus and Ultra variants could have more number of lenses. That said, the dimensions of the Galaxy S21 is said to be 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9mm. And if you include the camera bump, the thickness of the smartphone goes to 9mm. On the contrary, the previous Galaxy S20 features a dimension of 151.7 x 69.1 x 7.9 mm, which indicates that the new Galaxy S21 is slightly wider than its predecessor.
The new Galaxy S21 smartphone is also rumored to feature a 6.2-inch display, which is the same as the previous model. However, the display appears to be flat. That said, there is no other information regarding screen resolution and other features of the device. Hemmerstoffer (@Onleaks), suggests that the new Galaxy S21 series is set to be released on January 2021, which is a bit earlier than the usual for Galaxy S series launches. Stay tuned for more news and rumors regarding the upcoming Galaxy S21 series launch.
