HONOR is all set to unveil the world’s first Dynamic Holographic design that features in its upcoming flagship HONOR 20 Series, which comprises of HONOR 20, HONOR 20 PRO and HONOR 20 LITE at a global launch event in London on 21st May.
The launch will invite users to “Capture Wonder” with its professional-grade camera and the wondrous visual effect of the Dynamic Holographic design by introducing a multi-dimensional, Dynamic Holographic glass back. The Dynamic Holographic glass back was made in a two-staged process made possible by HONOR’s industry-first Triple 3D Mesh technology. The depth layer is created using a precise technique. It is embedded with millions of miniature prisms that resemble pieces of diamonds.
“Our design ethos ‘Always Better’ can be found in everything we create. HONOR’s latest Triple 3D Mesh technology is a piece of state-of-the-art craftsmanship. Unveiled for HONOR 20 Series, this industry-first involves a highly precise and complex assembly process. For every 100 back covers, only 20 meet our stringent standards. Despite the tremendous challenge this presents, HONOR is still committed to creating a glass back using this technique. We are driven to offer the very best to our customers,” said George Zhao, President of HONOR.
HONOR’s “Always Better” design philosophy drives the brand to go beyond the textural and colour design of the Dynamic Holographic glass back. HONOR 20 Series boasts a 6.26″ all-view display with a 91.6% screen-to-body ratio. Paired with a 4.5mm in-screen camera, the all-view display allows an even more enthralling visual experience without compromising on aesthetics.
Unlike its predecessors, the edges have been smoothed for a sleek design. This involves the careful positioning of the fingerprint sensor on the right side of its aluminum frame to complement the natural placement of fingers when one picks up a phone. The anti-fingerprint surface ensures that the phone looks good all the time. Not only does the curved screen provide a better hand grip, but it also leverages all three dimensions of the phone: length, width, and height to improve the overall viewing experience.
The asymmetrical “L-shaped” positioning of the camera lenses improves the technological prowess of the HONOR 20 because it allows for a bigger battery size while maintaining the aesthetic of the Dynamic Holographic glass back.
