YZer Group has launched a much awaited, feature-rich voice and video calling app in the UAE- a revolutionary, cloud-based VoIP app that gives users complete control over communication, through its unique automatic translation feature.
In addition, Yzer boasts of high quality video calls, texts, group chats and more, to users across any other country or network. YZER integrates the services of local mobile operators in the UAE to provide individual and business users with a complete set of tools for communication, all in one place. Dubai-based businessman Balvinder Singh Sahni (Abu Sabah), founder and owner of RSG Group of companies, acquired a stake in YZER group with the aim of increasing YZER’s market penetration in the UAE and accelerating its growth worldwide.
As of now, DU’s mobile users can subscribe to Yzer for AED 50 a month and AED 5 per day per packages, while home Wi-Fi users will have to pay a sum of AED 100 per month to enjoy the service, excluding 5% VAT. The USP here is that the single-day package of AED 5 will attract cost-conscious customers and blue collar workers in the country.
Commenting on the launch of the app, Osama Sultan, CEO of Du, said the company is always open to apps that are compatible with the rules and regulations of the UAE. “We don’t see YZER as competition, in fact, we welcome it because of its cutting-edge features, which also includes translation. We are a channel partner and we would like to offer as many options as possible to our customers,” he added.
VoIP calls are currently banned in the UAE, but owing to the high demand, telecom providers have introduced their own apps, to enable residents to make international calls at affordable rates.
Yzer currently supports 16 chat languages including Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Farsi and many others, with plans to introduce Malayalam and Urdu to be introduced in the near future.
