Along with the launch of the Sense and Versa 3, Fitbit has also announced its latest fitness tracker called the Inspire 2. The new fitness tracker does resemble the previous generation with some changes with respect to features and design.
The Fitbit Inspire 2 features a streamlined and slim form-factor with a backlit OLED touchscreen display and is comfortable to wear for every day and night. The new device features a 3-axis accelerometer, an optical heart rate monitor, and has water resistance up to 50 meters. Inspire 2 is capable of tracking your heart rate for 24/7, maximizing your workout sessions, view heart rate zones, track the sleep stages, calories burned, and more. By wearing the Inspire 2, users will be able to get their resting heart rate recorded and keep a tab of your heart rate trend. The fitness tracker is also loaded with guided breathing sessions to help you be calm during stressful situations. Just as the new smartwatches, the Inspire 2 comes with 20+ exercise modes, along with the SmartTrack that can automatically identify the type of exercise and record the results. The fitness tracker also features a touch-sensitive button to control the menu and functions.
The Inspire 2 also reminds users to stretch their legs and take a step out for 250 steps, while they work throughout the day. As for sleeping, you will be able to know how much light, deep and REM sleep are you getting with the Inspire 2, and also get tips on how to improve your sleep. The Sleep Score helps to analyze your sleeping trends and helps you learn to sleep more to improve your health. Pairing the Inspire 2 with an Android smartphone is easy, thanks to the Google Fast Pair feature. The device lets you see real-time pace and distance while walking, jogging, hiking, and bike rides, by connecting to your smartphone’s GPS.
The fitness tracker is capable of silent alarm where it wakes you up gently with a quiet vibration. The sleep mode is basically a silent mode where screen wakes and notifications are disabled so you sleep without any interruption. However, the device does have a Do Not Disturb mode, which basically mutes calls, texts, and app notifications. The menstrual health tracking helps female users to follow up with their cycles and more. You will also be able to log in to the type of food and meals that you had with the Fitbit application and compare it to the calories eaten and the calories that you have burned during your workouts. The bands are made out of premium and comfortable silicone material and come in two different sizes to fit small and large wrists.
As for the battery performance, the Fitbit Inspire 2 can last up to 10 days, depending on the type of use. It has a Lithium-polymer battery that can charge fully in just 2 hours. The fitness tracker also features Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. The Fitbit Inspire 2 comes in black, lunar white and desert rose colors and is priced at $99.95 (Approx. 367 AED).
