The Gaming Alliance Middle East is proud to announce the seventh edition of its annual video game convention. GAMES14 will take place from 11–13 September, 2014 in Sheikh Saeed Halls 2 & 3, Dubai World Trade Center.
Founded by PlayStation Middle East, Microsoft Xbox Gulf, Red Entertainment Distribution and Pluto Games, #GAMES is the leading video games show in the Middle East offering video game enthusiasts an opportunity to preview some of the most anticipated video games and gaming technology.
Since 2008, #GAMES has featured the world’s leading game publishers and hardware manufacturers showcasing their most anticipated products and entertaining a broad audience of video game fans of all ages, nationalities and cultural background.
In 2013, the show received over 23,000 visitors and was the host of regional previews of the biggest names in video game hardware including the hugely anticipated PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles as well as blockbuster games such as Call of Duty Ghosts, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, Disney Infinity and Metal Gear Solid V. The show also played host to the world finals of the global Pro Evolution Soccer Championship.
GAMES14 will shift the show to a larger facility within the convention centre and will play host to a range of new exhibitors and brands that are looking for ways to tap the young and affluent audience that attends the show. “We are proud to witness and be part of the growth of the event and look forward to welcoming fans to another weekend of fun filled entertainment,” said Nitin Mathew, CEO of Cygnus Communications, the show organizer.
