Microsoft launches new Lumia

Microsoft launched its new range of intuitive and affordable Lumia smartphones; Lumina 435 and Lumia 532.

According to Microsoft, Lumia 435 and Lumia 532 are affordable, powerful and innovative smartphone packed with latest Microsoft services. Both smartphones comes with the latest Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, the Lumia Denim Update, Microsoft’s Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote), Outlook for email, seamless Skype integration and front-facing camera for Skype video calling, HERE location services, up to 30GB of free cloud storage on OneDrive, and access to thousands of apps in the Windows Phone store.

Lumia 435 comes with a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor whereas the Lumia 532 has even more power with a quad-core processor. Microsoft also claims that both the phones have outstanding battery life. Both phones have 1GB of RAM and 8GB of memory as well as the ability to house a micro-SD up to 128GB.

The two new devices will be available in 3G single SIM and 3G Smart Dual SIM in these colors: bright green, bright orange, white and black.

The new smartphones are expected to roll out by next month in select countries across Europe, Asia-Pacific, India, the Middle East and Africa. Pricing for the Lumia 435 is estimated to be 69 euros while the Lumia 532 will be around 79 euros.
