After four years of the last Star Wars game – “Star Wars: The Old Republic” the Star Wars franchise is back with a bang with its latest release which is not a follow-up of the previous games. Released in November 2015 the game is developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts.
Star Wars: Battlefront is an action, shooter game where players pass through various planets, similar to the previous games. It is a game that allows the player to create his own heroic scenes on the different planets of Star Wars. If you love Star Wars you will definitely like Star Wars: Battlefront.
The user can visit the planets from the Star Wars trilogy with tremendous pragmatism. The players can either choose a Rebel Alliance soldier or an Imperial Stroomtrooper and represents the Rebellions or the Empire. In order to find their way in the game, one can use a lot of automobiles. One can use the TIE Interceptor, Snowspeeder for the aerial warfare and also can ride the Slave I and AT-ATs and a lot more.
All the main characters of the movie are featured in the game including Darth Vader, Boba Fett and Hala Solo. The game has been made more amazing than the previous releases with the ability to customize the gears, weapons and capabilities. It has a total of 11 blasters, 9 Power Ups, 18 star cards and 10 vehicles. The game supports first and third person view to enhance the gaming experience. For better precision, the game also allows zoom in and zoom out.
The game can be played in 11 languages including English (US), Espanol (ES), Italiano and Polski. There are both single and multiplayer modes of this game. A total of 40 players can pop in and compete against each other in the game at the same time. The campaign mode needs the internet access but not the cooperative one. The game is augmented with the original sound effects from the Star Wars Movie making it a more realistic.
The game progress and its stats can be tracked through a “Star War Battlefront Companion” which is available on the android and the ios for free. The companion also allows customizing the gears and the weapons before the battlefield. But all these features are available only in the campaign mode.
Credits are given for every battle won that can be used to buy new equipments. Star Wars Battlefront will also get some downloadable content in the future. One of the major downloads will be the Battle of Jakku wherein the users will get two new maps – Graveyard of Giants & Goazan Badlands and one new mode which will be absolutely free for everyone. This content will be available from December 2015.
For all the action lovers, you cannot skip this game. The players who have already played the earlier series of Star Wars know about the worth of this game.
