IMG Worlds, the Dubai-based owner and operator of the world’s largest indoor theme park, IMG Worlds of Adventure, has announced that it will build a new over 2 million square feet theme park, IMG Worlds of Legends. The press conference which was held at IMG Worlds of Adventure was attended by the owners of IMG Worlds, Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari, and senior team members of the new IPs of the park.
At the press conference Lennard Otto, the CEO of IMG Worlds, presented the plans for the new development, which is one of the biggest global licensing deals of its kind. IMG Worlds of Legends, will feature nine unique zones that bring together globally celebrated entertainment brands, including Ubisoft, Mattel, Nickelodeon, Saban Brands, Pokémon, Cartoon Network, Toei Animation and TV TOKYO.
The park will also feature two of IMG Worlds’ proprietary brands: Legends of Arabia and Lost Valley – Dinosaur Adventure. IMG Worlds of Legends promises to deliver a one-of-a-kind theme park experience, including 104,000 square feet of food and beverage space and 102,000 square feet of retail space.
IMG Worlds of Adventure and IMG Worlds of Legends will become the ultimate leisure and entertainment destination in Dubai, spanning over 6 million square feet and thirteen global brands. IMG Worlds, is the entertainment arm of Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group.
