Following the successful launch of the legendary Orpheus almost 25 years ago, Sennheiser has created another milestone in audio history by launching its successor – the ‘Sennheiser HE1’ in the Middle East market. The HE1 are the most advanced high-end headphones that offer an unprecedented audio experience that “shape the future of audio.” The electrostatic headphone system combines to perfection the most innovative technology with carefully selected, luxurious materials and highest quality craftsmanship. The headphones are priced at € 50,000 ($55,000 approx.) and are targeted towards the high-end audiophile market in the Middle East.
With the Sennheiser HE 1, we once again push the boundaries and show that we can repeatedly set new benchmarks in excellence and with that shape the future of the audio world,” said Sennheiser Co-CEO Daniel Sennheiser. The Sennheiser HE 1 surpasses every other headphone system in the world by offering the ultimate in reproduction precision, exceptional spatiality and a frequency response that extends far beyond the range of human hearing ability. “It is able to deceive our senses in a completely unique way, creating the perfect illusion of being directly immersed in the sound,” explained his brother and Co-CEO Andreas Sennheiser.
Even the slightest nuances of the music become audible. Alongside star producer Steve Levine, Grammy award-winner Gregory Porter was one of the first to be invited to an exclusive listening trial. To make this possible, a team of Sennheiser experts spent almost a decade continuously working against the limits of what is technically possible – and once again created the best headphones in the world. The Sennheiser HE 1 uses an innovative amplifier concept that combines to perfection the advantages of a tube amplifier with those of a transistor amplifier.
“I am very proud of this absolutely exceptional product,” said Dr. Andreas Sennheiser. “The HE 1 stands for the innovative power of our company and our joint commitment to the pursuit of perfect sound.”
