HMD Global, the Finnish manufacturer with exclusive rights to market phones under the Nokia brand, is planning to announce four handsets at Mobile World Congress later this month. Besides the already revealed Nokia 6 — launched in China but not yet elsewhere — HMD is poised to unveil another pair of downmarket Android 7.0 Nougat-powered devices, the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3.
The Nokia 6 features a full HD, 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 430 system-on-chip, 4GB of RAM, and 16-megapixel primary camera. The Nokia 5, meanwhile, is rumoured to pack in the same chip as the Nokia 6, but will come with a 5.2 inches display, offering a resolution of 720p and 2GB of RAM. The main camera will also come with a resolution of 12 megapixels.
In terms of pricing, the Nokia 6 might retail for €249, while the Nokia 5 will retail for €199. The Nokia 3 will be an entry level Android smartphone, expected to retail at €149. In addition, various news sources have reported that Nokia will launch the 3310 feature phone as well. Known primarily for its plentiful battery life and nearly indestructible build, the 3310 was released at the turn of the millennium as a replacement to the also-popular 3210. The 3310 is expected to be priced at around €59.
