Tecno, a mobile phone brand under TRANSSION HOLDINGS, is all set to reveal its next flagship on the Middle East market. The company will be launching the Phantom 8 and 8 Plus at an event today in Dubai, UAE.
According to Statista.com, smartphone usage in the Middle East and Africa region is continuing to grow steadily, with around 123.7 million owners in the region in 2016, up from 106.4 million during 2015. Earlier this year, International Data Corporation (IDC) reported that the GCC mobile phone market rebounded in the fourth quarter of 2016 after suffering a decline during the first three quarters. The premier global provider of market intelligence saw the shipment of 5.98 million units in Q4, up 7.7 percent on the previous quarter.

The Tecno Mobile Phantom 8 will reportedly come with a 5.5-inches full HD display, 6GB or 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage. It will also comes with a dual camera setup that includes 13MP + 12MP rear cameras, a 20MP front camera, MediaTek Helio P25 Octa-core 2.6GHz Processor, and a 3500 mAh battery.
The Tecno Mobile Phantom 8 Plus meanwhile is expected to accompany a 6.0-inches full HD display, 6GB RAM, and 64GB storage. It will also possibly come with the MediaTek Helio X30 Processor, a dual camera setup at the rear, 20 MP front camera, and 4000 mAh battery.
