Keeping kids safe on the Internet playground is one of today’s biggest challenges for parents. Parents simply cannot monitor a child’s every move online. The reality, however, is that other people can – think cybercriminals, illicit content providers, and cyberbullies, to name a few!
Kaspersky Lab, in partnership with Active Education, have embarked on a first-of-its-kind, proactive, engaging cybersecurity roadshow – targeted at school-going children between the ages of 8 and 13. A series of interactive sessions will be conducted at a number of schools in Dubai, between November 19th and November 30th, with the aim of teaching children about the dangers of the online world, and to equip them with the knowledge and tools they need to be responsible online.
