HP has launched a bunch of new products at CES 2018. The new products range from what HP calls is the “world’s most powerful convertible” to its Always-Connected PC 2-in-1.

HP Spectre x360 15
The HP Spectre x360 15 is being touted by HP to be the “world’s most powerful convertible PC”. The convertible offers discrete graphics that lets you create, edit and stream 4K and 3D content with ease. The device comes packed with the 8th Gen Intel Core i7 8705G processor with Radeon RX Vega M graphics offering up to 12 hours of battery life with Fast Charge Technology.
You also get another variation of the device built with quad core 8th Gen Intel Core processors with NVIDIA GeForce MX 150 graphics. This device offers up to 13.5 hours of battery life with Fast Charge Technology.
The device is built from an aluminum CNC machined chassis with a new angular profile at 19.5 mm. It weighs 2.09-kgs and is offered in Dark Ash Silver with Copper Luxe accents. The Spectre x360 15 comes with a 4K UHD8 15.6-inch diagonal touch display and optional HP Tilt Pen. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The device is also packed with an IR camera that supports Windows Hello and a finger print reader for better security.
HP ENVY x2
The HP ENVY x2 is an Always-Connected PC that features Intel Core processors. The tablet features a fanless display and is made using CNC Machined Aluminum. It measures 7.9 mm and weighs 760-gms. It comes packed with a 12.3-inch diagonal touch WUXGA+ display, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
The leather-like textured case in Oxford Blue integrates an adjustable stand to transform the device into laptop, reading and tablet modes. The backlit keyboard has a 1.3 mm key travel for a smooth typing experience. The Windows Ink pen offers a natural drawing and writing experience with simultaneous pen and touch.
The device offers up to 17 hours of battery life and Windows 10 Home. It accompanies 7th Gen Intel Core Y-Series processors with up to 256GB of PCIe SSD Storage and up to 8GB LPDDR memory.
OMEN Game Stream
HP’s OMEN Game Stream is a new remote game streaming solution for its Omen line of PCs. The solution allows games rendered on an Omen system to be streamed to other Windows 10 PCs. This gives owners the tools to take their power on-the-go via a high-speed internet connection.
OMEN X 65 Big Format Gaming Display with NVIDIA G-SYNC
The OMEN X 65 Big Format Gaming Display with NVIDIA G-SYNC is a next-generation big format gaming display for the home featuring a 4K UHD 65-inch diagonal display. The display runs a 120 Hz refresh rate with ultra-low latency for gamers to enjoy gorgeous visuals with the performance they crave to beat the competition.
4K UHD8 and HDR-10 brings gorgeous colour, brightness, and contrast to most current games on the market. NVIDIA’s G-Sync and NVIDIA SHIELD TV integration provide incredible fluidity to the screen for gaming, streaming movies, TV shows, and music.
Pricing and Availability
- HP Spectre x360 15-inch is excpected to be available in EMEA in February starting at €1,799 (AED 7,900 approx.).
- HP ENVY x2 is expected to be available in EMEA in April starting at €999 (AED 4390 approx.).
- OMEN Game Stream is planned to ship on OMEN systems in Spring 2018.
- OMEN X 65 Big Format Gaming Display with NVIDIA G-SYNC is planned to be available in Autumn 2018. Pricing will be disclosed closer to product availability.
