HyperX has officially announced their latest addition of fast memory modules with speeds up to 4800 MHz and with capacities ranging up to 256GB. The new memory modules are Intel XMP certified and AMD certified for Ryzen processors.
The first series of HyperX Predator memory modules come in single modules in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities. The kits of two modules come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB configurations, the kits of four modules start in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities, and the kits of eight in 128GB and 256GB total capacities. The frequencies of these modules come in 2400 MHz, 2666 MHz, 3000 MHz, 3200 MHz, 3333 MHz, 3600 MHz, 4000 MHz, 4266 MHz, 4600 MHz, and 4800 MHz speeds, along with latencies of CL12, CL13, CL15, CL16, CL17, CL18, and CL19.
The HyperX Predator memory modules also come in RGB versions and most of the kit options are the same, except for the kit of eight that only is available in a total of 256GB capacity. The available frequencies for the RGB modules are 2933 MHz, 3000 MHz, 3200 MHz, 3600 MHz, 4000 MHz, 4266 MHz, and 4600 MHz speeds. There doesn’t appear to be a 4800 MHz model for the Predator RGB series. The latencies of these modules come in CL15, CL16, CL17, CL18, and CL19.
HyperX also introduced the FURY DDR4 series in both RGB and non-RGB models. The FURY DDR4 series RGB and non-RGB models come in kits of single, dual, and four modules, with the latter, maxed out at 128GB capacities. The speeds range from 2400 MHz up to 3733 MHz speeds. Latencies include CL15, CL16, CL17, CL18, and CL19.
The new HyperX RAM modules go well with AMD Ryzen processors, since Ryzen performance does increase in high frequencies and low latencies, and with the ZEN 3 chips planned to be released by the end of the year, it’s a good time to shop for those fast memory chips. We will let you know once these blazing fast RAM modules hit the UAE market.
