ASUS has officially confirmed that they will be launching their next flagship line-up called the Zenfone 8 series. The unveiling is scheduled to take place on May 12 and the company has already set up a website with a live counter.
ASUS mentions on the website that the Zenfone 8 will be “Big on Performance” and “Compact in Size”. While it’s easy to guess that ASUS will mostly be using the Snapdragon 888 SoC to back up its performance claims, the company could also introduce a so-called Zenfone 8 Mini for the compact form-factor. The ASUS Zenfone 8 Mini has been in the rumor mill for a while now. However, it’s still not clear if ASUS will be revealing multiple variants of the Zenfone 8.
If you go by today’s trends, we could see a base model, a mini model, and possibly an ultra version with a bigger screen. Stay tuned for more news.
