Honor has officially introduced its newest mid-range smartphones, one of which is the Honor X30 and the other is the Honor Play 30. The vanilla X30 joins the X30i and the X30 Max that were announced a few months ago.
The new Honor X30 is the faster smartphone among the two new devices, featuring the new 6 nm-based Snapdragon 695 processor. The device comes with 6GB/12GB RAM, while the internal storage is 128GB or 256GB. The X30 runs on Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0 atop the operating system.
The smartphone also holds a large 6.8-inch IPS display with a refresh rate that goes up to 120Hz. On the front, there is the selfie camera that packs a 16MP snapper. The main camera module includes a 48MP main shooter, along with a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP sensor for depth sensing assistance. The device also holds a 4800 mAh battery with a 66W fast charge that fills power from zero to 80 percent in just half an hour.
On the other hand, the Honor Play 30 Plus features a smaller 6.7-inch LCD display with HD+ as the resolution and the refresh rate is 90Hz. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The smartphone also runs on Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0.
The Play 30 Plus only has two cameras on the rear side that includes a 13MP main snapper and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is located as a drop-like notch on the front with a 5MP sensor. The smartphone also houses a 5000 mAh battery but with 22.5W charging speeds.
There is no word yet on when these devices will hit the UAE shelves. And we will update you once the news is out.
