Apple has unveiled the Apple Watch Series 11, its most advanced wearable yet, combining breakthrough health features, enhanced durability, and next-generation connectivity. Designed to be thinner and more comfortable, Series 11 introduces hypertension notifications—a first-of-its-kind feature that passively monitors cardiovascular signals to detect signs of chronic high blood pressure. Developed using machine learning and validated in clinical studies, this feature could help identify undiagnosed hypertension in over a million users within its first year.
Complementing this is the new Sleep Score, which analyzes sleep duration, consistency, and quality using data from heart rate, temperature, and respiratory sensors. Users receive a nightly score and insights to improve sleep habits, with tracking available via watch face complications and the Health app.
Series 11 also boasts up to 24 hours of battery life, fast charging (50% in 15 minutes), and a display made from Ion-X glass with a ceramic coating that’s twice as scratch-resistant as its predecessor. Titanium models retain sapphire crystal for maximum durability. The watch is now more resilient for everyday wear—from workouts to sleep tracking.
Connectivity takes a leap forward with 5G cellular support, enabling faster downloads and improved performance for music, podcasts, and apps. A redesigned antenna boosts signal strength in low-coverage areas, while dual-system antennas engage simultaneously for better reception.
Powered by watchOS 26, Series 11 introduces Workout Buddy, a personalized fitness coach that uses Apple Intelligence to deliver real-time spoken motivation based on heart rate, pace, and activity history. The update also includes a refreshed Liquid Glass interface, new watch faces like Flow and Exactograph, and intuitive gestures like wrist flick for one-handed control.
Apple Watch Series 11 is available in 42mm and 46mm sizes, with aluminum finishes in jet black, rose gold, silver, and space gray, and polished titanium in natural, gold, and slate. Pre-orders begin today, with availability starting September 19.
As part of Apple’s 2030 environmental goals, Series 11 is made with 40% recycled materials, including 100% recycled cobalt in the battery and recycled metals in the case. It’s manufactured using renewable energy and packaged in fiber-based materials.
With powerful health insights, sleek design, and sustainable innovation, Apple Watch Series 11 sets a new standard for smartwatches.
