Samsung to showcase AI kitchen appliances at CES 2026

Samsung Electronics will unveil its latest lineup of kitchen innovations at CES 2026, featuring new iterations of its Bespoke AI refrigerator, over-the-range (OTR) microwave, and slide-in range. Alongside refreshed designs, the company will highlight major advancements in vision-based AI functionality, powered by Google Gemini and Google Cloud, underscoring its mission to simplify everyday tasks and elevate the modern kitchen experience.

“In pioneering the application of vision-based AI technology, Samsung has led innovation in the kitchen appliance market,” said Jeong Seung Moon, Executive Vice President and Head of R&D Team for Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics. “Through our collaboration with Google Cloud, we will reach a new level of innovation and continue to deliver better consumer experiences in the upcoming year.”

AI Vision–Equipped Bespoke Refrigerator
At CES, Samsung will debut the Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub, now enhanced with Google Gemini. This marks the first time Gemini has been integrated into a refrigerator. Previously capable of recognizing 37 types of fresh food and 50 pre-registered processed items, the upgraded AI Vision expands recognition to a broader range of foods, including processed items without prior registration. It can also detect user-labeled items stored in personal containers, making food management more intuitive and personalized. With improved accuracy, consumers can enjoy clearer ingredient tracking and smarter meal planning.

Bespoke AI Wine Cellar
Samsung will also introduce the Bespoke AI Wine Cellar, equipped with similar AI Vision technology. A built-in camera recognizes wine labels as bottles are stored or removed, automatically updating the SmartThings AI Wine Manager. The system tracks bottle placement by shelf and compartment, enabling easy inventory management. Users can access wine details and receive pairing suggestions, making wine curation more convenient and tailored.

Unified Kitchen Design
Samsung’s refreshed lineup also emphasizes aesthetics, offering a cohesive stainless-look finish across French Door refrigerators, slide-in ranges, and OTR microwaves. The new 3-Door French Door refrigerator features a zero-clearance fit with reduced door depth, ensuring full drawer access. Its AutoView transparent door allows quick visibility of stored items. The upgraded slide-in range adopts a modern bar handle and Precision Knob for enhanced safety. Meanwhile, Samsung’s new DualVent OTR microwave introduces a redesigned hood structure with front and bottom ventilation, significantly improving smoke capture compared to previous models.

Visitors to Samsung’s CES 2026 booth will be the first to experience these innovations, showcasing how Samsung continues to merge AI intelligence with design excellence to redefine the future of the kitchen.
