TP-Link has today announced the Neffos C, N, and X series smartphones at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Two new handsets under the Neffos brand were introduced, namely the Neffos N1 and C7. Designed to provide the latest technologies in mobile photography, the two ensure camera experiences that are fun, intuitive, and most of all, best-in-class.
Packed with premium camera features that meet the needs and lifestyle of modern users, the Neffos N1 is the company’s first dual-camera offering, fitting two 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 cameras into the back of the device. One has an advanced RGB Sony IMX386 sensor that captures a broad spectrum of colours, while the other features a monochrome sensor that takes care of the details.
Both have the ability to capture more light. Combine that multi-frame noise-reduction algorithms, and the result are stunningly sharp, vivid photos, even at night. The additional camera sensor allows for beautiful portrait images with a shallow depth of field for that bokeh effect, where the subject stands out from the background. Previously, that can only be accomplished with a bulky and expensive DSLR with a wide-aperture lens.
Another major selling point of the Neffos N1 is the powerful yet power-efficient MediaTek Helio P25 running up to 2.6GHz. The processor is paired with 4GB of RAM, which results in lag-free performance and advanced multitasking and gaming capabilities.
The Neffos C7, on the other hand, comes in a handy metallic body with a bright and clear 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video chat on its 5.5-inch display. A 10-level Real-Time Beautify mode allows for a live preview of many beautification choices, thus letting you capture the most flawless yet still natural-looking image with just one click.
For standard shooting, the C7 includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with a fast auto-focus that locks onto a subject precisely, letting you capture detailed shots, even in low light. Despite being relatively new to the smartphone business, TP-Link’s Neffos brand had a banner 2017, with it global sales up 400% year-on-year.
The staggering increase in sales was buoyed by the Neffos X1 Lite, which received high praises from industry experts and consumers alike. Notably, Neffos sold 10 times as many X1 Lite phones in December than in January 2017. The brand is perfectly positioned to flourish moving forward and is projected to further improve its sales as the global smartphone market becomes more mature.
With a heritage of excellence spanning over two decades, TP-Link has earned the royalty and trust of audiences in more than 170 countries, thanks to its products’ innovative design and unsurpassed price-to-performance ratio. Neffos continues the TP-Link legacy with the same commitment to high-quality devices and pragmatic operation control over the company. Since its conception in 2015, it has been offering the perfect blend of exceptional design and performance and affordability.
In a time when smartphone prices are exponentially growing — sometimes beyond accessibility — Neffos handsets offer unbeatable performance at affordable price points through supply-chain integration, sales, and channel control, and a better understanding of the market. Neffos, together with its partners, look forward to not only carving out a significant space in the evolving smartphone market, but also to influencing it in this new and exciting era.
