YouTube streaming now added to Jabra Sound App

The Jabra Sound App for mobile devices has been upgraded. With this latest version of the Jabra Sound App, users can now stream YouTube music and videos wherever they are and manage their own stored music files on their devices. There’s also a search option that allows them to choose whether to watch the YouTube video when they play the music track.

According to Ahmed Elkalliny, Area Director at Jabra Middle East, an increasing number of people are adopting streaming as their medium of choice for listening to music with YouTube being one of the leading streaming services.  “In fact, recent reports show that 64% of teenagers are using YouTube over any other music listening and discovery engine and it continues to be the most popular video streaming service in the world with more than 800 million active users per month with nine in ten of the most watched videos in the service’s history being music-related content. So to get the very best out of our headphones and speakers, users should take advantage of our free sound app that now lets them stream their favourite YouTube tracks in amazing stereo sound,” notes Ahmed Elkalliny.

This upgraded Jabra Sound App – also enhanced with great-sounding Dolby Digital Plus – is exclusive to Jabra’s range of stereo music products, the likes of: Jabra Revo Wireless, Revo and Vox headsets and the recently-released Solemate portable speaker range.

The Jabra Sound App can be downloaded to any mobile device – from Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS). The user needs to enter an activation code found on the leaflet in the Jabra Revo Wireless, Revo and Vox and Solemate product packages. Once activated, the Jabra Sound App will automatically identify music files on a user’s device and it’s then ready to play music in amazing Dolby Digital Plus sound.
