The social media is abuzz with news about WhatsApp being down. The service indeed has been down for more than 3 hours now.
Twitter users were the first to post their frustration after opening the messaging service and seeing it fail to connect to servers. Then WhatsApp took to Twitter shortly afterwards to confirm that the service is experiencing problems and they are working to fix the issues.
The last tweet by WhatsApp said “sorry we currently experiencing server issues. we hope to be back up and recovered shortly.” The status hasn’t still been updated at the time of writing this news report.
