Irvine, CA headquartered Xpal Power has partnered with Los Angeles based nanotechnology firm DryWired,to provide their multi-award winning SpareOne Plus Emergency Phone with DryWired’s revolutionary 101X liquid nano-coating protection.
As part of the union, DryWired has begun nano-coating the latest SpareOne Plus Emergency Phone with the proprietary 101X fluoropolymer coating in order to make the AA battery operated wireless devices IPX7 waterproof and corrosion resistant.
“SpareOne has been solidified as a must-have preparedness device, through its innovation and ability to keep lines of communication open when power is completely unavailable or inaccessible. We ventured this partnership with DryWired after our existing product sparked great interest for the phone itself to be waterproof,” said Alan Cymberknoh, SpareOne Product Director.
Unveiling for the first time ever at Computex Taipei, is PowerSkin’s Wet Rated Series. Their portable power solutions will soon feature DryWired’s state-of-the-art waterproof nanocoating technology. Wet Rated means that PowerSkin devices can get wet and still work.
The PowerSkin Wet Rated Series will be certified via the industry standard Ingress Protection (IP), and classified at the highest levels of this environmental endurance.
