Today we take a look at Goqii – a fitness band that wants to set itself apart from the competition. How does it do that? Well, it offers a real-life fitness coach to go with it.

Goqii works on the principal of giving back to the community and karma. The more you workout and burn calories, you are rewarded with “Karma points” which can then be donated by you to various social causes.

Goqii has tied up with Oxfam for a few social causes, information about which can be found on the Goqii website. The device is compatible with Android, Windows and iOS devices.
