Uber launched brand new service in the Middle East, UberCHOPPER for the fans of F1 Grand Prix at Abu Dhabi this weekend to skip the traffic between Dubai and Abu Dhabi and start the event in style. Uber unveiled app-based helicopter taxi service in association with Alpha Tours.
The new door-to-door service starts at AED2250 per person. Upon requesting UberCHOPPER, a private driver will pick users up at their home and drive them to the helipad at the Atlantis, The Palm hotel, where they will be flown directly to Yas Island. After a journey of less than 30 minutes another luxury car will whisk them straight to the Yas Marina Circuit for the race. The service will run hourly, Friday to Sunday, during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
