LG Electronics has launched its new OLED W TV from its Signature range of televisions, which measure less than 3mm in thickness. “The LG Signature OLED TV W is a true masterpiece of our time. We are confident our premium consumers in the UAE will marvel at the experience that this television creates, as it sets the golden standard in the premium television segment. We invite our fervent television consumers to experience the future of TV with LG’s W, the embodiment of LG’s commitment and leadership in the world’s leading OLED technology,” said Yong Geun Choi, President, LG Electronics Gulf.
According to LG, the paper-thin, LG Signature OLED TV W when mounted appears as though it is blending with the wall. It is coupled with a flat cable that connects it to a premium sound bar, which includes the connection ports, and other premium features separate from the screen itself, making the LG Signature OLED TV W design even more poster-style and perfectly minimal.
The LG Signature OLED TV W has the perfect colour palette thanks to the deepest possible black. LG OLED’s revolutionary pixel dimming control technology is what makes it all possible, which renders perfect black without any light leakage to offer a limitless contrast ratio, with one billion possible colors. What’s more, all LG’s 2017 OLED TVs use ULTRA Luminance technology to deliver greater brightness where needed. And no matter where you sit to look at it, every seat in the TV room gets a clear, vibrant picture without washed-out tones. The unique design of LG OLED TV assures that any view is a great one, not just for those in the centre.
As the first TV in the world to offer Dolby Atmos, 2017 LG OLED TVs can deliver content with both cutting-edge imaging and state-of-the-art sound technologies simultaneously, creating an entertainment powerhouse. Together, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos deliver a comprehensive solution supported by professional content creators and distributors the world over.
Over 80 studio titles are compatible with Dolby Vision and more than 100 titles are currently available for Dolby Atmos, with 25 available in both formats. What’s more, over 100 hours of original content is available in Dolby Vision across leading OTT providers worldwide and soon consumers will have access to Dolby Vision titles on Ultra HD Blu-ray disc, with anticipated availability in 2017.
The LG OLED TV W is available in both 65 and 77-inch models at the LG brand shop in Dubai Mall and all leading power retailers in the UAE including Jumbo electronics in Mall of Emirates, Emax in Yas Mall, Sharaf DG in Time Square Centre and Plugins in Dubai Festival City Centre. The 65-inch model costs AED 60000, while the 77-inch model costs AED 90,000.
