Xiaomi announced the launch of Redmi Note 8 series smartphones at the launch event in Dubai, where it introduced Redmi Note 8 Pro Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A. The compay also unveiled the Mi Wireless Car Charger during the launch ceremony.
One of the highlights of the launch was Redmi Note 8 Pro which comes with best-in-class Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 mobile platform, 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T gaming processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Redmi Note 8 Pro is also packed with the brand’s first-ever 64MP quad camera making it an ideal companion for photographers, gamers and anyone seeking an accessible flagship-quality experience.
Also introduced at the launch was Redmi Note 8, a photography powerhouse with a quad-camera setup, 6.39-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Redmi Note 8 packs the power of octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor 4GB of RAM and comes with Android 9 Pie and 4000mAh non-removable battery supporting Xiaomi’s proprietary fast charging.
Redmi 8 comes wrapped in glass-like material providing a premium hands-on feel with a polished and glossy surface, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 and 4GB of RAM. Redmi 8A comes in a fine, textured matt finish with excellent grip and at the same time, reducing fingerprint residues to a minimum. It packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 and 3GB of RAM. Both, Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A come with 6.22-inch HD+ IPS Dot Notch display that supports a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, dual-SIM (Nano), running Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 on top.
The Redmi Note 8 series phones are available in three colors. Redmi Note 8 Pro comes in Mineral Gray, Pearl White and Forest Green color while The Redmi Note 8 comes in Space Black, Neptune Blue, and Moonlight White. Whereas the Redmi 8 comes color variants of Onxy Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red and Redmi 8A is available in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Sunset Red.
Redmi Note 8 series phones are available at Etisalat, Carrefour and Mi Stores across the UAE.
