Along with the announcement of the affordable Galaxy A42 5G smartphone, Samsung has also officially introduced an affordable tablet called the Galaxy Tab A7 and another affordable device called the Galaxy Fit2 smartband.
Samsung is just one of the few brands that still continues to manufacture Android tablets for the affordable and premium categories. The new Galaxy Tab A7 features a 10.4-inch display that supports a screen resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, along with an 80% screen-to-body ratio. The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 662 8-core processor, with three of its cores clocked at 2 GHz and the rest runs at 1.8 GHz speeds. The tablet packs 3GB RAM and an optional 32GB/64GB as the internal storage. Users can expand the tablet’s internal memory with the help of a MicroSD card. The Galaxy Tab A7 runs on Android 10 OS with Samsung’s One UI 2.1 software skin.
The tablet packs a single 8MP camera on its rear and a 5MP camera mounted on the front side. The device features a total of four speakers for an immersive audio-visual experience while watching movies. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 packs a large 7040 mAh battery with fast charge capability via a USB Type-C port. Other features of the tablet include Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 802.11ac connectivity. The tablet will come in WiFi and LTE versions and in dark gray, silver, and gold colors.
Next comes the Samsung Galaxy Fit2 smartband, featuring a 1.1-inch AMOLED panel with curved 3D glass. The new wearable is capable of reading heart rate and can detect up to five different fitness activities. The fitness tracker packs its own little 159 mAh battery. Samsung claims that the Galaxy Fit2 can last up to 15 days on a single charge.
Samsung has also introduced a new charging unit called the Wireless Charging Trio that can simultaneously charge three different devices wirelessly. The wireless charger comes with a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable and comes in black and white colors. There is also a dedicated portion to place your smartwatch on the charging pad.
We will update you about the local availability and pricing of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7, the Galaxy Fit2, and the Wireless Charging Trio in the UAE, once the information is out.
