Samsung to announce new Galaxy Book laptops at MWC 2022

While Samsung has already unveiled the new Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra, and the Galaxy Tab S8 series earlier this month, the company prepares to announce a new range of laptops called the Galaxy Book at the MWC 2022. The announcement is scheduled to run on Feb 27th, 2022.

In a separate press release by Samsung, Hark-sang Kim, the Corporate EVP & Head of New Computing R&D Team, mentions that the new Galaxy Books are jointly made by Samsung and Intel, which is a clear indication that we are going to see Intel SoC chipped on these devices. Samsung also will be partnering with Microsoft to deliver more continuity to users to access apps such as Office, OneDrive, and Outlook. The new Galaxy Books are said to run on Windows 11 with One UI Book 4 interface atop the operating system.

The teaser animation mainly does show a laptop fold and unfold itself, along with other mobile devices around it such as smartphones and smartwatches. However, there isn’t any word if Samsung also plans to unveil the new Galaxy Watch 5 series Wear OS smartwatches.
