Unveiled back at CES 2022, ASUS will be releasing the new ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition laptop soon.
The new laptop comes powered with the latest Intel 12th generation Core i9-12900H processor with Iris integrated graphics, along with memory options up to 32GB DDR4. The display is a 14-inch OLED display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a refresh rate hitting 90Hz.
While the main display features an OLED panel, there is also a secondary 3.5-inch OLED panel that is located on the outer cover. The purpose of the secondary OLED display is to showcase system notifications, the status of the battery, date and time, and other animations with customizable texts.
The chassis of the laptop is built with different elements to resemble a starship. Additionally, the chassis goes with the US Space Station Command Standards (SMC-S-016A), indicating that the laptop can handle extremely low or high temperatures and also vibrations.
While the 14-inch laptop does not have a number pad, ASUS does give the option for users to integrate an LED-based touchpad. The laptop also features a fingerprint scanner atop the power button. Connectivity includes four USB-C ports, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A port, and an HDMI 2.0 port.
We will let you know once the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition hits the UAE stores.
