Announced a year ago, the “Made in Russia” YotaPhone will finally see the light of day in December this year. The smartphone boasts of a dual-screen configuration that comprises of a 4.3-inch 720p LCD display, in addition to an E-Ink unit that helps save on the battery life in the long run.
YotaPhone has teamed up with the Singaporean manufacturer Hi-P for its smartphone’s mass production. An official word on the device’s pricing is yet to arrive from YotaPhone’s representatives.

Confirmed hardware specifications include a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, a choice of 32GB or 64GB of non-expandable storage, and a 2,100mAh battery.
The YotaPhone is said to be powered by the Android operating system, and will carry a Gorilla Glass 4.3-inch 720 x 1,280 LCD display right up in front to dazzle your eyes, while there is a rear display which is made up of a 200dpi E Ink screen of similar size as well as toughness.
The YotaPhone will tip the scales at 140 grams, measuring a mere 10mm thin.
