Dell has unveiled an expanded range of mobile and tablet solutions at GITEX Shopper 2014, meeting the needs of customers whose professional and personal connectivity requirements are now overlapping on a daily basis.
With mobility and seamless connectivity fuelling the growth of tablet devices in the Middle East region, Dell has broadened its portfolio of tablets for business and personal users.
At GITEX Shopper 2014, visitors will be able to view Dell’s Venue tablet series, which is available in a range of sizes and platforms to suit consumers’ specific preferences. The tablets have an exquisite fit and finish, with compact designs that make it easy to stay connected on the go.
The Venue range incorporates 8- and 11-inch Windows-based tablets complete with keyboard and stylus options, as well as 7- and 8-inch Android tablets. Each delivers leading performance and quality, backed by Intel processing technology.
The lightweight Dell Venue 8 Pro runs Windows 8.1, has a bright HD IPS display, advanced connectivity options and provides long battery life. Users can also stay productive with Office 2013 Home & Student, included with the device, and the optional Dell Active Stylus.
The Dell Venue 11 Pro, also based on Windows 8.1, provides ultimate 2-in-1 flexibility with the power of an Ultrabook and convenience of a detachable keyboard to create a desktop experience. Unlike competitive tablets, it has a user removable/replaceable battery, while its large Full HD display with wide viewing angles makes it easy to read and create content while staying mobile.
The Dell Venue 7 and Dell Venue 8 Android-based tablets, meanwhile, are affordable, feature-rich tablets for people who want to be constantly connected wherever they are. Both tablets have an upscale fit and finish, and are designed with longevity in mind.
Dell also brings the latest additions of its popular Inspiron laptop family to the Middle East introducing the new touch-enabled Inspiron 3000 and 5000 ranges at GITEX Shopper.
The Inspiron 14, 15 and 17 5000 Series laptops are stylish, packed with convenient features and engineered for long battery life, ideal for families and students that want the latest technology for productivity and entertainment in thin, space-saving designs.
Families will enjoy a mobile, versatile computing experience enhanced by high-end options such as a Full HD touch display on the 15- and 17-inch laptops, and fast, long-range 802.11ac WiFi on the 14- and 15-inch laptops. The 10-finger capacitive touch display option makes it easy to scroll, zoom, and tap through documents or social media status updates.
The brilliant display is showcased within a brushed aluminum lid and a form factor that is thinner than the previous generation: up to 21 percent thinner for the Inspiron 14 and 15 5000. The 3000 Series comes in 14-inch and 15-inch formats, with impressive touch displays up to Full HD resolution and the latest processing technology providing consumers with easy and reliable solutions to stay connected, enjoy media and carry out work.
Other products on display at GITEX Shopper will include the XPS 15 multimedia laptop, which boasts a stunningly thin design and offers as an option the first 15.6-inch Quad HD+ (3200 X 1800) display in the world, which is the highest resolution available on a laptop of that size. The XPS 15 is designed for creative enthusiasts and features both 4th Generation Intel Core i5 and i7 quad core processor options and NVIDIA discrete graphics options.
