Review: Fly by Eurostar TS 111

Eurostar, a leading digital and a consumer technology innovator in the Middle East has come up with a new set of phones which are specially designed as an old classic phone. Eurostar has  collaborated with the Fly, a European mobile phone brand and designed a series of phones which are ready to make a new wave in the Middle East market.

Fly by Eurostar TS 111 is especially for those who do not want their phones to do anything rather than calling and messaging. The device reminds us about the old glory days of Nokia when it completely dominated the mobile market with its Symbian phones

The phone just looks like an old candy bar shaped Nokia phones of old days. With not much on the menu, the music and video player is the highlight of the phone. The phone dressed in black outfit with a great body built giving the phone a tough look. On top of that the phone is extremely cheap and affordable with AED 129. The Fly by Eurostar TS 111  with all its features, price and look would prove to be a good  phone for the people.

The phone is equipped with a 2.8 inch QVGA display, a 312 MHZ processor and 32 MB of internal memory. In this fast paced life most of the people have to carry two phones for official and personal use, Fly TS 111 has appeared as a breather for these people, as it phone does not come up with one SIM or two SIMs but three separate SIMs altogether.

It is a triple SIM phone that allows you to put as many contacts as you want. The camera quality is also low as it is equipped with just 1.30 MP camera on the back. So, it cannot be said as a camera phone. The internal memory of the device is 32 MB, which is expandable through a MicroSD card by which you would be able to install your favorite songs and videos.

The phone also comes up with the torchlight,  FM, internet browser which can be used with the GPRS settings and file transfer options included are Bluetooth and USB transfer.

Basic old type phones have all of a sudden gained a high popularity vote by the masses as compared  to the Android smartphones because they offer you better security features as they lack Wi-Fi features along with other connectivity features. They also offer a much better battery life which is needful in today’s life. Fly TS 111 does exactly the same as it is powered by 1300 mAh battery and does not have Wi-Fi connectivity option.

In the phone box of the Fly TS 111, you would be getting a lot of  standard accessories, just the Android, one which includes a handsfree headset with inline mic, a micro USB cable, a charging adaptor, a battery with the regular user manual for help.

Durable body, low price, triple SIM and simple features make it a good second phone choice for those who wish to keep separate phones for office and personal use.

Price: AED 129
