Axis Communications, has unveiled its latest high performance AXIS P1244 Network Camera which is cost effective and is meant for indoor applications that require exceptionally discreet surveillance. This modular camera, allows versatile mounting options and is ideal for use in stores, banks, and for integration in tight places as in ATMs and ticket/vending machines. A successful amalgamation of three main aspects, Modular Concept, Compact Design, High Performance, has led to this commendable yet cost effective surveillance camera.
The Modular Concept wherein the surveillance part of the camera is made independent of the main unit comprising the processor, network and power connections, allows this camera to be put to use in a highly discreet purposes. A Compact Design, which comes along with a flush mount kit for discreet mounting and finally High Performance, in the form of support to full frame rate HDTV 720p videos, ZipStream technology, coupled with Power over Ethernet(PoE), a microSD card slot and a built in Active Tampering Alarm and video Motion Detection with a greater capacity to support additional video analytics compatible with AXIS Camera Application Platform.
