ASUS has already provided the market with highly powerful and efficient versions of the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080. However, those top-end cards are not meant for gamers with a tighter budget. The ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1060 O6G GAMING is an interesting choice for budget conscious buyers as it delivers exceptional performance at an affordable price.

The design of the ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1060 O6G GAMING shares a lot of elements with its premium counterparts. The wing blade fans are also similar to the STRIX GTX 1070 and 1080.

However, the case or the body enclosing the fans is a bit thinner as compared to the more premium cards in the STRIX series. The reason for the decrease in thickness is the decrease in size of the fins of the internally located heat sinks. In terms of connectivity, the STRIX 1060 provides one DVI link, 2 DisplayPorts and 2 HDMI ports.
