At the 2020 Next @Aver virtual event, Acer has officially revealed its latest line-up of Predator gaming laptops that includes the new Acer Predator Helios 300, the Acer Helios 700, the Acer Triton 300 and the new Acer Nitro 7.
The Acer Predator Helios 300 and the Triton 300 shares similar specifications and comes with the Intel 10th generation Core H series processors. The GPU used here is the Nvidia RTX 2070 Max-Q. Both the laptops feature a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with a blazing fast refresh rate of 240 Hz. The Helios 300 can be equipped with up to two PCIe NVMe SSDs and the Triton 300 with up to three M.2 SSDs.
The flagship Predator Helios 700 comes with a more powerful Core i7-10875H or the Intel i9-10980HK. The new Helios 700 packs the latest RTX 2070 Super or RTX 2080 Super GPUs and the system memory can be configured to a maximum of 64GB 2933 MHz DDR4 RAM. The 17.3-inch IPS display features a fast refresh rate of 144Hz and has support for G-Sync. The Helios 700 also comes with the iconic sliding HyperDrift keyboard. Acer says the thermal management capabilities have also improved with a new solution called the Predator PowerGem. It’s a special material with 3.83 times better vertical heat conductivity than copper, along with Acer Cool Boost tech, a vapor chamber, and two custom-engineered 4thGen AeroBlade 3D fans.
The budget-focused Acer Nitro 7 also comes with the 10th generation Intel Core H processors and packs the GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. The laptop can be configured to hold a maximum of 32GB DDR4 RAM at 2933 MHz speeds. Nitro 7 also features a 15.6-inch display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and the machine supports up to 3 M.2 SSDs for storage options.
The Acer Predator Helios 700 will come at a starting price of 2699 EUR (Approx. 11,222 AED) and will release in the UAE in September 2020, the Acer Helios 300 from 1299 EUR (Approx. 5401 AED) releasing July 2020, the Triton 300 for 1399 EUR (Approx. 5818 AED ) from September 2020, and the Nitro 7 from 1299 EUR (Approx. 5401 AED) from July 2020.
