MSI has officially announced a new curved gaming monitor called the Optix MAG271VCR, featuring a high refresh rate and Full HD resolution. The monitor sports a 27-inch VA panel and has a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The response time of the monitor is 1ms to eliminate screen tearing during gameplay. The monitor comes with 1800R curvature that offers an immersive gaming experience.
MSI claims the VA panel offers 178 degrees of viewing angles. The display also brings a wide color gamut so games will look more colorful and details will be realistic for an immersive experience. The monitor also features a frame-less edge-to-edge design and very few bezels. To protect the eyes, MSI has also included an anti-flicker feature and Less Blue Light capability, so gamers enjoy longer gaming sessions without causing fatigue and eye strains. There is also the Mystic Light RGB light system that lets gamers take control of the lighting to suit their build. The lighting system is located at the back of the monitor in the form of an X-based design.
MSI has also included the Night Vision is a smart black tuner feature that helps to brighten the dark areas and showcasing the fine details while gaming or watching videos. As for connectivity, the monitor features a single Display Port and two HDMI ports. Out of the two HDMI ports, one is based on HDMI 2.0 and the other is the standard HDMI 1.4 port. The monitor also comes with two USB ports. The display also features Adaptive-Sync where the monitor will be able to sync with the framerate that the gaming PC is able to process, thus allowing gamers to be immersed with smooth visuals while playing games.
