Poco X3 NFC goes official, features Snapdragon 732G SoC and 120Hz refresh rate display

Xiaomi has officially unveiled the latest iteration of the Poco-branded smartphone called the Poco X3 NFC, featuring the latest mid-range and the fast 4G based Snapdragon 732G chip.

The Poco X3 NFC is designed with gaming in mind. The smartphone holds a large 6.67-inch display, sporting a screen resolution of Full HD+ and 20:9 as its aspect ratio. The main feature is the refresh rate of the display that is maxed at 120 Hz, making gaming visuals much smoother than the standard 60 Hz panels. The display also features a 240 Hz touch sampling capability. There is a punch-hole camera on the front for selfies and it holds a 20MP image sensor and with an aperture of F2.2. Pico mentions that the front image sensor features pixel binning to produce better-looking selfies. The X3 NFC features Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front side and a polycarbonate-based panel its the rear side. The device carries the IP53 certification, indicating that it can resist dust and water splashes.

The rear side of the smartphone has a total of four cameras, in which the main sensor sports 64 megapixels. This sensor used here is the Sony IMX682, a powerful unit with the image sensor size of 1/1.73″ for better IQ. The second camera is a 13MP shooter for wide-angle photography. The shooter provides about a 119-degree field-of-view and has an aperture of F2.2. While the remaining two shooters feature 2MP cameras, one is a depth sensor to support AI portrait modes and the other is for macro shots.

The smartphone also features a large 5160 mAh battery under its hood and has support for 33W fast charge. Next to the USB Type-C port lies a 3.5mm audio jack on the smartphone. The device also features dual stereo speakers for the best audio experience. Along with the obvious fact that the smartphone features NFC, the Pico X3 NFC also brings support for WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual-SIM capability. You can also use one of the hybrid SIM slots to place a MicroSD card.

The company has also included an efficient cooling method called the LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus, that uses a copper heat pipe and the inclusion of a graphite sheet to easily cool the internal components and dissipate heat more efficiently. There is the power button that doubles as the fingerprint scanner and is located on the side of the Poco X3 NFC. The smartphone will be released in two different variants: 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage. The Pico X3 NFC will come in Shadow Gray or Cobalt Blue colors.
