Samsung announces the Galaxy F62, packs a large 7000 mAh battery

Samsung has officially unveiled a new F-series smartphone called the Galaxy F62 and is the second Galaxy smartphone to feature a large 7000 mAh battery.

The new smartphone comes with a large 6.7-inch Infinity-O AMOLED display and sports FHD+ screen resolution. There is also a large 32MP front-facing selfie shooter located inside a punch-hole camera. On the rear side of the smartphone, there a total of four different cameras, and the main camera sports a 64MP shooter. The second camera features a 12MP sensor for ultra-wide shots, and the other two cameras pack 5MP sensors each, for macro photography and depth-sensing functionality.

 

The Galaxy F62 is powered by Samsung’s 7nm based Exynos 9825 SoC and works with 6GB/8GB RAM, along with 128GB of internal storage. You will also be able to expand the storage with a MicroSD card. The processor is the same chip that powers the Galaxy Note 10 series. The device runs on the latest Android 11 OS and with One UI 3.1 enhancements.

And as we mentioned before, the device packs a large 7000 mAh battery and the package comes with a 25W charger. The Galaxy F62 is 9.5mm thick and also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Samsung Galaxy F62 will come in Laser Green, Laser Grey, and Laser Blue colors and will have a starting price of 330 dollars (Approx. 1200 AED). There is no word yet on the availability of the smartphone in the UAE.
