Motorola announces the mid-range Moto G10 and Moto G30

Motorola has officially unveiled two new smartphones called the Moto G10 and the G30. The new smartphones are aimed to offer customers improved camera capability and long battery life.

The Moto G30, which is the better one of the two, features a large 6.5-inch IPS display but lacks a bit in terms of screen resolution. The display outputs 720 x 1600 as the screen resolution, however, the 90Hz refresh rate makes up for it. The display has a water-drop notch that houses a 13MP selfie shooter.

The rear side of the smartphone features a quad-camera configuration, that includes a 64MP sensor as the main camera with Quad Pixel technology. The main camera is also joined with an F1.7 aperture lens for bright images. The second camera is an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, along with a 2MP camera for macro shots, and another 2MP camera as the depth sensor. The main camera can do video recording up to Full HD at 60fps.

The G30 comes powered by the Snapdragon 662 chip and runs on Android 11 OS, along with some Moto-based features enabled. The smartphone comes with either 4GB or 6GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. You can expand the memory with MicroSD cards. There are single and dual SIM models. where the latter features a hybrid slot design. The device also packs a large 5000 mAh battery and has support for 20W fast charge.

The Motorola G10 is a dialed-down version, and even if it also has a 6.5-inch display with 720p+ screen resolution, the refresh rate of the display is only 60Hz. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 460 SoC and comes at 4GB RAM/ 64GB ROM or 128GB ROM configurations. The main camera here is a 48MP shooter with F1.7 aperture. The front camera only comes with an 8MP sensor. The device also packs a 5000 mAh battery but with 10W charging.

Both the new smartphones feature fingerprint scanners on the rear side. There is also a dedicated Google Assistant button located on the side of the device. The new devices also feature plastic bodies that are based on a water-repellant design with IP52 certification.

The Motorola G10 is set to be priced at 150 Euros (Approx. 665 AED), and the Moto G30 for 180 Euros (Approx. 800 AED).
