When Bentley’s expansive palette of 46 billion colour and trim combinations still isn’t enough, Mulliner—Bentley’s bespoke commissioning division—steps in to create something truly unique. That’s exactly what happened when a long-time Bentley owner requested her next car in an exact shade of her favourite colour: pink. The result? A striking Bentayga Extended Wheelbase (EWB) finished in Candy Pink, commissioned in collaboration with Mulliner at the end of last year.
The vibrant SUV stands as a testament to the growing demand for personalised luxury, where customers are increasingly seeking cars that reflect their individuality. Bentley Palmyra’s Rich Pepe, who helped facilitate the project, remarked, “It was great collaborating with Mulliner, and I look forward to commissioning the next truly bespoke Bentley.”
Through Mulliner’s ‘Co-Creation’ process, customers work closely with Bentley designers and artisans to realise one-of-a-kind designs. This Candy Pink Bentayga features Blackline Specification detailing, offering a sleek contrast with gloss black accents on the door handles, tailpipes, grilles, and more. Tinted rear glass completes the dramatic exterior aesthetic.
Inside, the craftsmanship continues with a custom interior trimmed in Cherry Blossom leather, applied to the seats, doors, centre console, steering wheel, and gear lever. A bespoke colour split allowed the same Cherry Blossom thread to be stitched throughout the cabin, including the embroidered Bentley Wings. Even the deep-pile floor mats, made of 100% pure wool, are edged in Cherry Blossom leather, with the wool selected and tested for purity and colour quality.
Manufacturing a Bentayga EWB takes approximately 132 hours—24 of which are spent on the paintwork and 18 on crafting the trim and woodwork. Bentley’s interior artisans are trained under Master Trainers, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship are passed down through generations.
The rear cabin of this specially commissioned Bentayga EWB Azure offers the ultimate in comfort and indulgence. Key features include the Bentley Airline Seat Specification, with 22-way adjustability, auto climate sensing, and posture control with 177 pressure changes for fatigue-free journeys. The Mulliner Bottle Cooler, nestled between the seats, holds a 750ml bottle and includes two handcrafted Cumbria Crystal flutes.
Entertainment is elevated with rear-seat infotainment and Bang & Olufsen for Bentley speakers, featuring precision-drilled aluminium grilles in a Fibonacci pattern for superior acoustic performance.
