The service is being rolled out in phases initially to a portion of registered clients to ensure subsequently a smooth loan application and approval experience for all customers.
The launch reflects du Pay’s strategy of expansion beyond payments and remittances into everyday financial services that address the real needs of nationals and expats. Flexi Cash Loan will support customers who have limited access to traditional banking products, including youth, blue-collar and expatriate workers who often need quick access to emergency funds, but face barriers when seeking instant short-term credit.
The more customers use du Pay for their regular financial needs, the closer they come to eligibility for loans. du Pay customers can check their eligibility on the du Pay app and once approved, they can access funds within minutes. The product design is centred on transparency and ease of use. Customers are presented with clear pricing upfront through a fixed one-time fee, with no hidden charges, and repayment period.
