TP-Link has announced the launch of the new Neffos Y5s, which features a 5-inch display that delivers an HD resolution for an immersive viewing experience when streaming Netflix, YouTube, or any other video service. The panel used is IPS, so it offers nice colours and looks good from a range of viewing angles. The handy screen size means the Y5s is easy to carry around in your hand or in your pocket.
For high-quality photos and videos, there’s an 8-megapixel camera at the back of the phone that allows for punchy and impressively detailed outputs. Crucially, it has auto-focus, meaning pictures will tend to look sharp, even in dim lighting. There’s a camera for selfies and video calling as well.
The Neffos Y5s does not compromise on reliable performance, speed, and data connectivity, fitting a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with four CPU cores and Adreno graphics inside an attractive and ergonomic design that will appeal to a younger demographic.
The processor is paired with 2GB of RAM, promising seamless day-to-day and gaming performance. It will handle most apps and games flawlessly, thanks to the generous amount of memory onboard. With the Neffos Y5s, affordability does not cancel out speed.
The 16GB baseline storage should be enough to store your important files and photos. And just like every other phone from Neffos, it can be expanded via a microSD card. The same Snapdragon chipset supports multiple 4G LTE bands with speeds of up to 150Mbps, ensuring the Y5s can take advantage of super-fast internet services for optimal browsing, downloading, and streaming experiences in more locations across the globe. That said, the Y5s is perfect for those who frequently travel overseas but don’t want to spend too much on a smartphone.
