Dynabook Europe today launched the latest addition to its Tecra range of laptops at the GITEX Technology Week in Dubai. The Tecra A40-E is an exceptionally portable yet connected and secure business laptop, specifically designed to meet the needs of the modern mobile worker.Weighing in at just 1.47kg and boasting up to 13.5 hours of battery life – with a Quick Charge feature giving 4 hours’ battery life from just 30 minutes’ charging – the Tecra A40-E offers users optimal portability, regardless of their location. What’s more, a 14-inch Full HD anti-glare display reduces workers’ eye strain and means performance is not impacted by variable lighting.
The A40-E has also been designed with durability at its core. The device boasts a highly robust chassis and has been tested to the rigorous MIL-STD-810G military-grade standard, giving businesses the confidence that the device can endure the demands of a mobile workforce.
“The Tecra A40-E has been developed with all businesses in mind, no matter what their size or industry,” said Damian Jaume, President of Dynabook Europe GmbH. “The launch of this device demonstrates our commitment to innovate within the Middle East business PC market and broaden our range of user-centric devices, following on from our company rebrand. We are looking forward to sharing this for the first time with our Middle East clients at GITEX 2019, the biggest and most important technology event in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia ”
It also offers a 17-hour battery life, and has the advantages of a high brightness 15” LCD screen, without compromising on portability, performance or reliability on the go. The X50-F completes dynabook’s X-series family, joining existing 12”, 13” and 14” models.
As an additional security measure, and in line with growing awareness of webcam security among both businesses and consumers, the X50 is fitted with a new webcam shutter slider for increased user privacy. A new and improved S-type fan also increases air flow into the X50 device by up to 10 per cent, offering an enhanced cooling system but at lower rotation speeds, thereby reducing noise.
