Razer has officially introduced a new version of its Blade Stealth 13 gaming laptop at the Razercon event. The new gaming laptop comes with new processors, the latest of Intel Xe integrated graphics, and an optional OLED touchscreen display.
The Razer Blade Stealth 13 is considered as one of the best lightweight gaming laptops in the market. Most of the specifications remain the same as the previous model that was announced earlier this year, except for the display and processor. What we have here is a gaming laptop that is powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i7 1165G7 processor and paired with the NVIDIA GTX 1650 Super GPU (Max-Q design). The previous model had the Intel Core i7 1185G7 processor. The interesting part is that the new Core i7 1165G7 chip has a TDP of 28W, as opposed to the 25W chip used on the previous model. The Intel Core i7 1165G7 runs at a base speed of 2.8GHz and can boost up to 4.7 GHz speeds.
The new late 2020 model also features 16GB LPDDR4X RAM that is clocked at 3733 MHz memory speeds and also packs a 512GB PCIe M.2 SSD, which is upgradeable by the user. The 13.3-inch display of the new Blade Stealth 13 comes with either a Full HD non-touchscreen matte display with a 120Hz refresh rate or a Full HD OLED touchscreen display. The OLED display with Gorilla Glass option offers a 100% coverage of DCI-P3 space. This option is better suited for content creators than gamers. It should be noted that Razer decided to drop the 4K display option here and favored the OLED panel. The 120Hz non-touch display is of course aimed at gamers and features 100% sRGB coverage.
Other features of the Razer Blade Stealth 13 includes 2 x Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB Type-C), 2 x USB-A 3.1 Gen 2 ports, headphone/mic jack, a 720p webcam with Windows Hello, WiFi 6 Intel Wireless AX201 module, Bluetooth 5.1, and more. The laptop also comes with four stereo speakers and paired with a smart amplifier and support for THX Spatial Audio technology. The gaming laptop also comes with the crazy Razer Chroma with single-zone full key backlighting, along with anti-ghosting capability.
The new Razer Blade Stealth 13 comes with a dimension of 15.3mm x 304.6mm x 210mm. However, the non-touchscreen model weighs 1.41kg and the touchscreen OLED model weighs slightly heavier at 1.48kg, which should be barely noticeable. The new Razer Blade Stealth 13 late 2020 model is priced at 1799 dollars (Approx. 6700 AED), and the OLED model for 1999 dollars (Approx. 7400 AED).
