The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is one of the latest mid-range premium Android tablets, featuring MediaTek chipsets, a 12.7-inch 3K display, Tab Pen Plus, and more. We got a chance to try out the device, and here are our thoughts about it.

Design

The Idea Tab Pro features a sleek design, featuring dimensions of 189.1mm x 291.8mm x 6.9mm, and the device weighs 620g. Lenovo offers the Idea Tab Pro in two colors, namely the Luna Grey and Seaform green editions. The front-facing mai display comes with a 12.7-inch LCD panel. The screen resolution tops at 3K, and the refresh rate is 144 Hz.

The power button is located on the left side of the device, along with the volume rockers on the top side, the four speaker grills on each side, and the USB-C port on the right side. The tablet sports quad JBL speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.

The rear side of the device comes with the Lenovo logo in the middle and the camera island on the top right side. The top side from the rear is also used as a magnetic connector for the included Lenovo Tab Pen Plus.

The packing includes the Lenovo Tab Idea Tab Pro, the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, a USB-C charging cable, a 45W charging adapter, a MicroSD tray Pin, manuals, and more.

Features

When it comes to camera capability, the tablet sports a rear-facing 13MP shooter, along with a flash module. The front-facing camera houses an 8MP camera sensor. The tablet also comes with a MicroSD card slot for extra storage expansion. The wireless capabilities include 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.3.

The Lenovo Tab Pen Plus allows users to use it for a lot of productive workloads. The tablet and smart pen support features such as Circle to Search with Google, translate words, Easy Jot that allows you to takes notes anywhere on the screen, and more.

The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC and supported with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device runs on the latest Lenovo ZUI 17.0.04.266 with Android 15 OS. The performance of the tablet is fast and snappy for general usage such as creative apps, viewing videos, browsing websites, etc.

To test the performance, we ran several benchmarks, which include Wildlife and Solar Bay 3DMark tests, Antutu, and GeekBench 6 CPU/GPU tests. Take a look at the scores below.

The tablet also comes with a large 10200 mAh battery with support for 45W quick charge. Lenovo mentions that the battery offers an all-day usage performance on a single charge.

For those looking for a good Lenovo mid-range Android tablet with support for smart pen capabilities, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is a good choice to consider. The tablet sports a brilliant 12.7-inch display with 3K screen resolution. The 144 Hz refresh rate also adds up for the smooth visuals. The device comes with quad JBL speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.
