Following the success of last year’s programme, Epson is bringing back its ‘Nurture Your Kids’ Talents with EcoTank’ campaign for the third year, helping families in the UAE prepare for the new school year with both practical learning tools and enriching experiences. Customers who purchase a qualifying Epson EcoTank printer will receive up to four free after-school classes, giving children the opportunity to explore educational, creative and physical activities beyond the classroom. Global superstar and brand ambassador Shakira once again joins Epson to champion creativity, learning, and talent development among young learners.
Partnering with leading regional providers such as Duolingo and Upskillit the initiative offers both online and in-person experiences, including sports lessons, creative arts, and tutoring in subjects like Math and English and a one-year Duolingo subscription. Redeeming the classes is as easy as visiting the campaign microsite, registering a purchase, and selecting preferred activities.
In the UAE, the campaign runs from August 14 to October 8 and is supported by 123 participating partners, offering between two and four free classes in activities such as sports, music, dance, and crafts. Among the sports being offered are athletics, football, basketball, swimming, gymnastics, volleyball, martial arts, and horse riding.
For many families today, finding the right balance between digital and physical learning tools has become increasingly important. A recent OECD report, How’s Life for Children in the Digital Age?, highlights that while digital devices offer valuable learning opportunities, excessive screen time can negatively impact a child’s well-being. This is further supported by recent Epson research, which reveals that 69% of parents and teachers surveyed notice students experiencing screen fatigue from the use of laptops and tablets and it is unsurprising that 59% said printed materials were easier on the eyes. At the same time, the value of physical learning tools remains clear, with more than half of the respondents saying printed materials encourage deeper reading and comprehension.
As the back-to-school season approaches, having access to a reliable home printer can help families stay organised and prepared. It offers the convenience of printing assignments, study notes, and hands-on creative materials at a moment’s notice, reducing stress for parents and helping students stay organised. Epson’s EcoTank printers are designed to help busy families stay organised and prepared throughout the school year, delivering a hassle-free and ultra-low-cost printing experience. With its revolutionary cartridge-free system, EcoTank can save families up to 90% on printing costs[1]. It comes with high-yield ink bottles, and one set of ink bottles enough for up to three years[2], ensuring families can print everything they need without the interruption of running out of ink.
“We are proud to partner with Shakira on this campaign. Her passion for education, creativity and youth empowerment reflects our shared commitment to helping children reach their full potential,” said Neil Colquhoun, President of Epson META-CWA. “Through this back-to-school initiative, we are bringing together the value and reliability of EcoTank printing with access to educational, creative, and physical learning opportunities, helping parents and families in the UAE and across the Middle East provide meaningful support for their children’s growth, learning, and well-being both inside and outside the classroom.”
Families can purchase a participating EcoTank printer and redeem their free classes through their local Epson website while stocks last. The 2026 campaign will roll out across the Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa. The offer is available for a limited time only.
